Hello November!
Hello, November!

It’s officially the first week of Move-ber (yes, you read that right — “move” into the holiday season!), and I honestly believe these last months of the year are my all-time favorites. There’s just so much in the air: crisp mornings, decorating coming up, the smells of Thanksgiving, the first hints of Christmas (yes!) — it all adds up to magic.
And I love that part of my job allows me to live here in San Antonio, experience the city, know the neighborhoods, and share it with you. As your trusted real-estate and community-insider, I want to invite you and your family to lean into this season with me. Let’s dive into some fun, free (or nearly free) things you can do this week (starting Nov 3) around town.
🎉 Fun Free Family Things to Do in San Antonio This Week
Here are some family-friendly, mostly free/low-cost outings you can enjoy — perfect for the “let’s do something together before the holiday rush” mindset.
1. Explore the outdoors at Yanaguana Garden (in Hemisfair)
-
This is a beaut of a spot: centrally located, great for kids with playgrounds, swings, sand play and water play. The San Antonio Things+1
-
It’s free to walk in and enjoy the outdoor play space — just maybe pack a snack or picnic.
-
Tip: Go in the late morning or early afternoon when the light is nice for photos (yes, you’ll want pictures!).
-
Bonus: Great opportunity for a “mini-family photo session” while you’re there — you’ll get the fall light, city backdrop, and your home-town pride shining.
