🎄 San Antonio Holiday Magic | Week of December 8th

Two weeks left until Christmas—are you the one who finished shopping back in November, or are you like my husband, who lives for the hustle and bustle of last-minute shopping? 😂 He swears that going out on December 24rd, bundled up with coffee in hand, surrounded by crowds and Christmas music, is the real Christmas experience. Honestly… when it’s cold outside, he might be right.

 

 

Thinking about it all takes me back to when the boys were younger. One year, we slipped quietly out of the house while they were still asleep (don't worry—we had someone with them!) to go hunt down their “Santa” gifts. It was crisp outside, we grabbed hot chocolate, and off we went, wandering through stores with this magical excitement in the air. Everyone around us was smiling, laughing, and just… present. No rush, no stress—just pure joy.

Those simple moments stay with you forever.

And at the heart of it all, we’re celebrating the birth of Christ—the greatest gift of all. Christmas has always held a special place in my heart, and next week I’ll share a story from my 2021 Christmas that still gives me chills. It’s a good one… so make sure you tune in.

Years ago, I saw a necklace while shopping with a friend. I loved it, but I walked away. What I didn’t know is that my friend called my husband and told him all about it.
